My old school was pretty rough a lot of bullying happened but no one was ever stripped naked, nothing even close to that ever happened.

I still can't get over the fact that there were several bullies who taunted someone for being gay, then stripped him naked. Didn't at least one of them stop and think "actually stripping another man down naked and then covering him in oil is actually a bit gay in itself" But then I don't know the full story.

The word they want for is 'restraint'. Had all of us said quality in all cases, there would be no crimes of opportunity, or passion, or hate. Just about anything short of organized crime would disappear

... I might have desired it, but I still like people having the ability to emotionally blow up, or to occasionally steal something or kill someone. Shakes things up.

Stripping a person naked in public is a way of humiliating them. Bullies need to exert dominance, and humiliating another person is a way that they assert superiority, not only over the victim, but over everyone who sees it and does not step in to stop it.

And when that wasn't enough, and jeering wasn't enough... well, all that's left is to set 'em on fire.

Best to keep me far away from people being bullied, has a habit to end with me in the principles office taking all ze blame from everyone and then what I did myself as well As an adult, that'd be... ah... prison.

Double jeopardy is the concept. You cannot be tried for a crime if you were tried once and a verdict was reached.

Once a sentence is imposed by a judge, I believe that the only way it can be changed is via options such as sentence reductions for good behavior. I don't think they can be increased, though.

I have never used tanning oil but I would expect a product that I was applying to my body was NOT flammable. I did a quick search for tanning oil and found no warnings about product being flammable.

I think manslaughter was the correct call.

I also think the company and regulators should change the tanning products to non flammable.
