87+ Dead in Bangladesh Building Collapse

RE: 87+ Dead in Bangladesh Building Collapse
Why not ask him (excuse me, "Him") to restore all those people to life? That way he could defeat allah, convince atheists, and make sure that WalMart's profit margin remains high.

That shouldn't be beyond the abilities of the "creator" of the whole fucking universe, should it?

But he restore their live and restore the building that would defeat the purpose why he created insurance companies. He's glory would be minuscule and he don't want that.

The death toll now stands at over 1,000.

All in the name of cheap consumer goods. I am guilty of purchasing these goods which means that I am, in part, responsible for these deaths.

They found a survivor! After 17 days!

Should I yell "Praise Jesus!"?

Seriously, this damn near qualifies as a miracle. Amazing!

Do you really have much of a choice? It seems nearly impossible to find consumer goods that are manufactured in places that value their workers.

It truly is tragic, on so many levels.

Rather then reduce my purchase of cheap goods in some quixotic hope that another 1000 girls won't die, but 100,000,000 banglordashis would more likely to remain dirt poor for another generation, I would rather buy the cheap goods, so that 10,000 girls would die, but 100,000,000 banglordashis would enjoy better standard of living by the next generation.

Every poor country would make this same choice. Everyone that is not poor anymore has already made this choice in the past and has improved standard of living now to show for it.
