No it isn't...I'm talking about general citizens. I don't know how it works elsewhere but in Britain, anyone can lobby for anything directly to their member of parliament.

Oh that's right. I was just over there last week, nice tour of parliament and everything. I love the whole "bulls gathered in a pen" style of governing you got there.

I'm from the US, there is no such thing as mysterious motives here when it comes to lobbying.

A) A lobby group that donates millions to campaigns

B) Private, concerned citizens writing letters or e-mails and making a few phone calls...

Theoretically, the US does too. Each congressman/woman in the US represents the interests of their constituents.
