So "self creation". I can go for that.
You could say : I agree with the idea that creation is good, and that this is the same idea as theists hold about one particular aspect of their god.
This would remove your atheistic bias.

Except I would then be lying.

That is merely a baseless assertion absent of any proof. Everything came from something. This thing would need to exist independent of these things. Hence, a Creator.
What are your opinions on the origin of the universe?

@Maelstrom
Seriously?
A=B
Maelstrom agrees with A, but disagrees with B.
(because B is associated with a scary word)

Even god? From whence did god come? You cannot make the statement that everything comes from something and then deny that logic in the next breath by stating that god has always been in existence. Surely, if you are a creationist, something had to create your god.

It started with a singularity. What created the singularity and what happened before the singularity? No one yet knows. Just because we do not yet have answers to these questions does not automatically mean that god did it. To make such a statement is intellectual laziness.

Your assertion has no proof, once again.
1. How do you know this world is good?
and
2. Why does there necessarily need to be a creator?

Is the concept of infinity illogical?
And I'm not a creationist.

What reason do you have to believe that your dilemma will be resolved?

A little something called secular reasoning. Science has made great strides in understanding the universe and how it works. Of course, tremendous strides could have been accomplished sooner had it not been for the theistic abhorrence of science that tends to slow down scientific progress.

2. Why does there necessarily need to be a creator? There is good in the world, hence, the world is characteristically good.
We have a finite universe that came into being at a single point in time. Whatever caused this coming into existence would need to exist outside of time to cause it.
Space came into existence at this point in time. Space must come from outside of space. Something that is not limited by space.
And we go on.

Is there anything that science can't do?
