The plan?
All these fuckers with their grandiose plans.
I don't doubt they see them but when reality threatens the plan,
do they adjust or just ignore it?
How do you respond to this statement?

We will never know what Plato ate on his third birthday for instance. So it depends on what they are talking about. Quote:"I have faith that god sees the bigger plan". This is just making excuses for god not doing what would have been expected if god was real. Quote:I'm sick of hearing these when talking to religious people. What is the best response to these statements? Fortunately I live in England where mostly religion is a private thing. You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Every statement, argument or perception conceals in it a part of the whole truth, but usually never all of it, be however wrong or right it seems. -Me

You're going to have to forgive me, because I can't remember the details of this story and I've been drinking so I can't be arsed to find it. Anyway, there's a rather famous journalistic photo of a vulture waiting for a bone thin, collapsed child to die so it can do what nature does. The photographer who took the picture continued on his way, and was eaten up with guilt over it. I have no idea how photographic journalists deal with the things they do, because they are not always humanitarians or in possession of the necessary supplies to help everyone they come across. Just be grateful they're out there - sometimes risking their lives - to capture things some people would rather you not see. Putting a human face on suffering throws a real wrench in the plans of the power hungry and the social pacifiers who'd rather you continue to live blind lives of middle-class comfort instead of demanding that those in power do something for greater good.
