If there really was a god and he really is kind and forgiving, why would he put people on a tiny planet wizzing round a constant loop in a infinite universe and make us suffer the dread when another dies. Also our mind and thoughts are in our brain so there can not be an afterlife as our brain decays along with the rest of the soft tissue in our body. Also if god was real then surley he would have let so called early humans such as Adam and Eve about there vast universe to show there power. That brings me on to another point, females existed before males and the Y cromosome is a mutated X cromosome so that renderes the story of Adam and Eve a lie. Take that religion. Who agrees with me.

I remember my time as a pentecostal Christian who questioned everything. I asked my fellow parishioners what made all other religions and gods false and Christianity alone the one truth. I did not threaten anything or anyone, nor does God, it is a reality of life after death. If I were to make a threat it would be from me to whom ever, besides what good does a threat do, I've had several come my way on this forum and I have always wondered how they could be carried out.
All I was doing in this case was let someone know there are.... never mind no one cares anyway.

Theists imply or outright state the threat, "I like you, I think you are a good person, but you're going to burn in eternal hellfire because you don't agree with me."

I disagree with this mindset. Not just the philosophy behind it. I'm convinced it's utterly untrue and has no basis in reality. And I'm tired of theists coming with that mindset that if they believe in an absurd idea of a god that it absolves them of being a genuinely nice person. That it somehow puts them ahead of the line for what a good person is simply for believing in those absurd concepts.

It's a beautiful con, really. Tell people that selfishness will keep them out of heaven, then bait them with promises and threats designed specifically to appeal to their selfishness. All of you ostentatiously pious shits who take the bait and yammer on endlessly about heaven and hell end up in the holy hibachi right next to us.
