No no. The dragon merely breathed Monopoly into existence.

One question for Christians
|
Quote:Better than being the guy who claims that the creator of Monopoly never existed and therefore the game arose through purely natural and unguided processes over billions of years of chance and necessity. Because that is definitely crazier than believing that a magical being from beyond time and space whose being and motivations are beyond human comprehension magicked Monopoly into existence by speaking a few words, and who now contents himself by obsessing over the sexual habits and thoughtcrimes of one of the pieces.
Come on Ryantology, You know that colored sticks make cows vary in color just like it says in the bible, your "Evilution" and "DNA" stuff is too complicated to explain all of that!
Pi is = to 3, because it is simpler that way. The leprosy bacteria is best banished by chants and bird blood, not by complicated sciencey anti-biotics. So in that vein, there must be a Jehovah god because, well, it's simpler, and bad philosophy is all that theists can muster.

Nobody here believes that, so your post was a waste of time. It’s hard to take you seriously when you cannot even get the Biblical story that you’re attempting to ridicule correct. “You Christians are so dumb! You actually believe that Moses took two of every fish and five of every loaf onto the Ark which floated on the Nile for three nights, but on the third day the Nile turned to whine, which gave rise to the inebriated giant fish that swallowed up Daniel after he had slew the leper named Goliath with the floating ax head that the talking donkey gave to him while standing next to the stone that the serpent had rolled away using Eve’s rib and David’s jawbone?” “Umm…no.” Exodus 31 makes it clear that it was God who determined the patterns on the GOATS, not the striped poles. Read the Bible. Quote: Pi is = to 3, because it is simpler that way. How many significant figures are you rounding to? Quote: The leprosy bacteria is best banished by chants and bird blood, not by complicated sciencey anti-biotics. Why are you confounding spiritual cleansing with a biological cure? Another atheist who has never read the Bible…shocking! (August 29, 2013 at 11:26 am)tokutter Wrote: ???? Is that a yes ?????? God has the right to do with His creation as He pleases. Then the priest shall examine him, and pronounce him unclean. Oooh! Taking things out of context are we?? I don't think "spiritual uncleanliness manifests itself in the form of "leprous sores" now does it? Besides, in practical terms the priest is deciding if the man can com back from the exclusion of a leper colony or similar. Reading the whole story doesn't not lead one to believe the problem is a man's sin that caused him to be punished by leprosy does it? No, it appears to be a priest judging the man's health and trying to help him. Furthermore, it is obvious that the priests incorrectly thought that the leprosy was brought about by fungus or mold, hence their house cleaning instructions. Apologists have avoided this by separating the story mid-stream, which makes both of the non-nonsensical. FYI, leprosy is a bacterial infection and has nothing to do with anything spiritual. We know that today, in the third century or so bc, when the story was made up, they didn't know that. In verse 15, the bible says this: 17 And any garment and any leather on which there is semen, it shall be washed with water, and be unclean until evening. So does this mean the garment has sinned and it needs "Spiritual Cleansing" as well?

Quote: I don't think "spiritual uncleanliness manifests itself in the form of "leprous sores" now does it? I never said that it did, I merely said that the practice in Leviticus 14 is a spiritual cleansing practice, which it is. We know that today, in the third century or so bc, when the story was made up, they didn't know that. Why are you now referring to the diagnosis and quarantining of leprosy in Leviticus 13 when originally you were referring to the ceremonial cleansing of leprosy in Leviticus 14? You’re intentionally trying to confound the two practices. The ceremonial cleansing involving the birds in Leviticus 14 is a Messianic foreshadowing ceremony. The Israelites practiced these ceremonies routinely and were well aware that they did not achieve physical cleansing, but were an exercising of faith in the coming Messiah’s work. This is very basic theology sir. All that I ask is that before you attack my faith, at least exhibit the intellectual honesty to possess a working knowledge of it. I’ll do the same for you. You really think everyone's here to debate you. Did it ever occur to you that perhaps some of these folks simply want to drop their two cents and see what you think? It's not about winning, but about sharing ideas. There is a debate forum here if that's what you'd like, but last I checked this thread is meant for simple discussion.
