Revenant. 3 out of 5 stars.
The Martian.
It stretched the suspension of disbelief to the breaking point, but overall it was an enjoyable ride.
Ghost rider. Now watching ghost rider 2

The Moomy with Brendan Frasier; Oooh hoo hoo...so scawwy.
A cinematic tour-de-force. I laughed, I cried, I was on the edge of my seat. I'm pretty sure it was five hours long! 30 out of 5 stars, definitely. Also just watched Inside Man (Learned to italic from your post!) on Netflix, probably 4 or 5th time I've seen it. Sill very enjoyable even knowing all the twists.

I just watched The Godfather straight through for the first time (I had seen most of the famous scenes, and read the book, but I never sat down to watch the movie front-to-back).
I had planned on watching half of it last night and half tonight, but I was riveted. It really is, like, the perfect movie. It was perfectly paced, with something important happening essentially every half hour. And it was definitely better than the book, which was extremely interesting in parts but had some tremendously boring parts as well. I hadn't expected to like Pacino as Michael but I thought he nailed it. So, yeah, x out of x symbols.

Don't worry, my friend. If this be the end, then so shall it be.
The Last Witchhunter.
A smorgasboard of bad acting and movie cliches. I'm grateful for the passing of time, but the less of these kind of movies the better. I knew all this going in, but I need some way to pass the time without access to my computer this next few weeks.
Mr Brooks (2007).
For some reason, this guy reminded me of batman... always with a plan, and a plan B, and a plan C. Well worth the watch! (thanks for the suggestion, babe!) |
