He actually admitted to the possibility, but he also says that he shouldn't believe in it until it's verifiably true.

Possibility? Yes, depending upon the subject of discussion. Is there a possibility that life exists elsewhere in the universe? Yes. Is there a possibility that god exists? No. The existence of god is improbable.
