Question for our resident creationist(s)
#11
RE: Question for our resident creationist(s)
The egg far pre-dates the chicken. We have evidence of dinosaur eggs from 150 million years ago. The chicken dates from some 8,000 years ago and was hybridized from Red and gray junglefowls...which still exist in Southern Asia.

The mystery is over. Evolution has solved it. Unlike religion which never fucking solves anything.

As for what's in my cup: not enough alcohol to make me forget your embarrassing post.

Its all thoery my friend! Just like creationism. I've read enough to know that a "synthsis" or "meiosis" of genetic material doesn't necessarily constitute an egg. But whatever. I failed biology in school.

Anyway... more embarrassing is asking a creationist what came first?

Goddidit is so much easier to understand, isn't it?

False. Creationism fits the definition of a hypothesis. It doesn't even get "theory" distinction.

before constructing an argument against something, you must first know about it. refusal to learn the opposing side and then trying to fight shows extreme arrogance that you are right and absolute foolishness.

Egg laying organisms evolved millions of years before the chicken, or even birds for that matter.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

What you must understand is the amount of evidence in evolution's favor, and amount of evidence against creationism. It's a no-brainer decision which to accept.

You do know that you can believe in God without being so ignorant, right?
