Evidence for the advice of why you shouldn't have faith in things that potentially may not be true if you can't know they are true because you have no evidence? I could believe invisible Leprechauns live at the bottom of my garden and make them offerings of bread and milk and if I did that I'd be insane. If a billion other people did the same thing it would be a faith.

I have evidence, evidence from God and plenty of it. Because you refuse to accept the evidence doesn't mean it's not real evidence.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

1) Demand evidence of your beliefs
2) Say there is plenty of evidence for their beliefs
But, when push comes to shove:
1) They tell you your evidence is wrong
a) Because your beliefs are aren't acceptable
b) Because you misquoted the Bible
2) They fail to provide evidence
a) Because they don't know any
b) Because there isn't any
The last time I debated an Orthodox Christian, he demanded time and again that I provide evidence of what I claimed. But when a great deal of my evidence came from the Bible, he screamed at me that I couldn't quote scripture to debate him. Huh? The Bible is the greatest weapon an atheist has to show truths to a Christian, and is a Christian's greatest weakness. Deep down, they know it. But they don't want to admit it.
