Occam is not a person's name. It is a place. The closest person who could take credit for the razor was William OF Occam. Even so he did not invent the razor. He was a medevil philosopher, who was not a Christian. He was a nominalist. (Look it up for yourself.) nominalism clashes with Christianity, one can not be both. The razor was attributed to him because his peers observed him use the razor even though he did not personally identify it or write about it.

The reason I do not believe that you know what it is, is because you have appealed to it as a rule of logic, whe. It's not. It's a simple proverb or maxim. It's a good rule of thumb, that's it that's all. Even science shuns this maxim when 'proof' lead it in the opposite direction.

Now before you respond read my source material. If you wish to contest the source material, find a greater source.

What, are you on your mobile too? Anyway, you used an appeal to faith as your greatest reason to believe. There have have been numerous instances of this, so I shouldn't have to quote you on it. If you have a beef with yourself using faith, then I suggest you seek therapy for being at odds with yourself suddenly.

Drich the golden rule does not appear in the OT. If it does quote the scripture and i will stand corrected. Now the reason my point stands is simple, you provide no evidence to back up your answers, or the conjecture you source. Infact in a earlier post you said is not up to the believer to provide evidence. So since you have no evidence to back up yourassertions made in your answers occams razor stands. You are correct in so far as stating that occams razor only applies when the evidence is equal. In this it is valid.
To simplify: to test the god hypothesis I ask a serious of question like above and you answer with highly complex answers. I as a atheist have to simply say there is no christian god. Since have provided 0 evidence to establish your god is real; and my hypothesis is far simpler occams razor falls in my favor

Leviticus 19:18 has a quote similar to the golden rule. As part of a set of commands that govern behavior towards others, the Israelites are told to "love your neighbor as [you love] yourself."

So was Jesus' version in Mark - Israelite only that is, but no-one ever notices.
