Have any women you've known ever followed the biblical order in Lev.15?

Are you confusing them with moel's who are the guys that perform the circumcisions?

Kohanim means priests. They are patrilineally direct descendants of Aaron. Assuming a rebuilt temple, a male 'Cohen' would resume temple sacrifices and offerings, and hence...get bloody.

I'm only a quarter Jewish, but I think I'm at least half right about the above...maybe more.

OK - gotcha - although one would like to think that there's more to the stopping of sacrifices and offerings than merely the lack of a temple.

Hopefully Judaism has moved passed that.

What Judaism seems to fear is women. Much like all barbarous religions.

Whilst certainly true the blood fear also appears in the dietary rules so there is more to it than fear of women.

Yep..a man definitely made that shit up Tongue
I hypothesize he was a masogynist who got grossed out by menstruation and emotions. Kinda sounds like one of my Ed's, com to think of it Thinking
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

It's amusing to imagine much of the misogyny found in religion could be a simple outgrowth of sour grapes by 'one pump chumps'.

Pointing and laughing are both evil, ladies!

I'm not so sure. I have some hazy memory of this being entertained...as in, who would be designated head priest. Of course, they can't even agree on what precious stones exactly were in the head priest's vestments, and Jews are loathe to anger god with errors in such important details. Besides, I don't see Muslims being too keen on relinquishing the Dome of the Rock, ATM...
