On the up side, while putting him on "Ignore" I discovered that I had "Buddy List" requests so there's that...  Still trying to work out what the buddy list does, though.

I put that drich fellow on ignore ages ago, and have been tempted to look a handful of times. I was never pleasantly surprised..

Drich isn't hostile or aggressive to me, he's just a blowhard.  Plus if I put him on ignore I couldn't fully enjoy Min's responses to him.

I would be happy to talk in person.  I've done skype calls and video chats with several members on here.  Your views on the human race really make me sad.  I'm sorry you feel they way you do, but whether you choose to believe it or not, there are people that care about you.  I'd be happy to speak with you.  If i can give any advice, it's don't isolate yourself.  Engage with people and allow them to slowly get to know you.  No one should ever be lonely.  The reason to engage with people and develop relationships is because we all need somebody, sometime.

That's not true though my friend.  Don't be fooled in to thinking otherwise.  But normal social discourse with other people and engaging in mutual respectful conversation will assuredly make you realize, there are people that genuinely care.

Several of us, including myself, have tried to give this young man some helpful advice and we were met with hostility and negativity. My respect and willingness to help and be kind stops the moment I become someone's verbal punching bag. I will not apologize for burning that bridge with some people because clearly they are toxic and need psychological help. Sadly, this happens all too often when someone is so damn angry that they see red simply because someone, who they don't know, calls them out on their bs in a forum. Or anywhere else, for that matter. Be it online or IRL.

I just don't understand why some people seem to hate the world so much. It's scary to think of how that hatred could eventually end up turning into a rage that gets acted upon. I'm not saying it will in this case, however, with the recent shootings of our schools, churches, movie theaters and now a PP location, all seemingly committed by angry people, no wonder why I don't want to give people a second chance.
