I'm sorry you're feeling low. You do realize that you're not required to attend every argument you're invited to, right? Sometimes dealing with Steve or Huggy is just too much and a break is needed to get away from the ridiculousness. Take time and feel better before subjecting yourself to their wall of bullshit. You'll need to be on top of your game to deal with those two.

Looking over the absentee voting materials I have received. There is going to be additional information related to the abuse allegations against Keith Ellison coming out in the coming weeks and I'm feeling less confident about the process of absentee voting overall, so I at this point would prefer to wait and vote in person on election day. However, I have not been able to find clear information or instructions on how to do that now that I have received my ballot. My best understanding is that I need to return the absentee ballot to an authorized election office, but it's far from clear. I've sent an email to the email address on the envelope that my absentee ballot came in. Hopefully they, or someone at the elections office will be able to help me.

Not sure how it works there, but here, you can just go to your local polling place and vote. I would think that if you got an absentee ballot, you could bring it with you and turn it in without penalty. They have a book with everyone's names in it and you're required to sign your name before going to the voting machines anyway, so there would be a record of you voting in person vs sending in the absentee ballot.

Received a reply to my question about absentee ballots. Unfortunately it didn't really clarify things. So I sent another.

Watching the Falcons / Saints game on my second monitor (a 26" TV). I prefer watching on my 40" TV, but Chromecasting DVR content to the TV doesn't always result in smooth playback for some reason. I've yet to figure out why. Sometimes it works well. Sometimes it doesn't. (I could run a long HDMI cable from my graphics card to the TV, but I'd rather the Chromecast just work the way it's supposed to do.)
