Dad and I got two tickets to see The Skin of Our Teeth. Well, that’s one I can strike off the depressingly long bucket list of plays I have yet to see live, even though I really want to.

There are four teenagers in my house and apparently I need to feed them.

Just got back from Wendy's. Because I'm missing most of my fingers, I find it difficult to hold and eat a hamburger so I rarely indulge, but sometimes there's just no substitute. Today was that day.

I've got about an hour to dick around, then I need to get cleaning. We are having apartment inspections on Wednesday, so I've got tonight and Monday night, realistically, to get things done, and better sooner than later. (I am free in the mornings, but who wants to clean then?) So, my evening is pretty much planned.

Didn't feel like going out this evening because the weather is cold and damp and I've felt chilled most of the day.

So I made a batch of toffee instead, to use up some surplus whipping cream that's in the fridge.

And poured myself a small glass of Green Chartreuse. That stuff has such a lovely weird herbal flavour.

After finishing the performance; naturally, a bit amateur, particularly Henry, whose performance recalled Mike Yanagita from Fargo more than anything else, I left, and we drove a mile or two towards home before I realised that I had dropped my phone somewhere before I left the theater. We drove back, and we found the theater doors were locked (doors of the theater itself, not the building), talked with an old friend (who played Sabina), and when I figured out Dad was as much into catching up on lost time as getting my phone back, I asked her "do you know any locksmiths?" I showed her my empty phone holster, and she told me to just go through the stage door, which was wide open. I found it face down, none the worse for wear.

Up in the middle of the night with a headache. I've been having relatively frequent headaches lately, which I suspect are rebound headaches from overuse of pain relievers like tylenol. So, under that theory, the thing to do is to avoid taking pain relievers for a while, all the while having frequent headaches. In a word, it sucks. So, here I am with no real relief, eating oreo cookies to comfort myself and heating water for some tea.
