RE: What's everyone up to right now?
March 14, 2017 at 7:22 am
Been up since about 4am keeping an eye on the weather. Mostly, it's been a sleet event, but there is heavy snow at times. Evidently, my area is close to the sleet/snow line. We may come out of this better than I had expected but we'd still have to deal with ice forming on the roads. I'll keep anyone that's interested, posted.

I am interested.
You guys take care and don't take any unnecessary risks with those icy roads.

We did all of our necessary running yesterday. Everyone is off of school / work so we are going to drink hot chocolate coffee (a drink I made myself) and make cookies. I spent a solid two hours cleaning this morning. Everyone is now awake and we're just chillin in the living room.

The weather right now is just perfect. Sunny, not too hot. If you ask me it could stay like this till November, and then switch to white christmas for a while. If I had to design a planet, that's what it would do - with some thunderstorms sprinkled in.

I am about, what, 50 miles north of Judi? And we are definitely *not* on the snow/sleet line:
About 16 inches I think, and not supposed to stop for another 4 or 5 hours. Also 30 mph winds.

Don't worry, my friend. If this be the end, then so shall it be.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

One of my roommates is now demanding that I move out this summer because he's an "introvert" and expects an adequate amount of "alone time" everyday. He said since he and I come home usually at the same time on weekdays at 5pm he doesn't get his "alone time". He thinks I shouldn't come home until 8 or 9pm like our other roommate so he can have the whole house in the evening to himself. I'm not exagerating. I'm not reading between the lines. This is what he told me. Wtf?! All I do in the evenings is cook dinner and go up into my room (which is on another floor of the house I might add). I'm not moving out over something that's only his problem.
