Made a batch of pecan butter tarts (using puff pastry for the shells).
Finally booked my flight to Iceland for next spring. *happy dance* Had to tinker a bit with my vacation days so that I could book midweek flights and get a good price on the ticket, and I got that done at work today.

I can do better than that -- I'll be travelling with at least two cameras and my notebook computer, so there will undoubtedly be a bit of a play-by-play coming from whatever hostels I end up at.

Iceland is on my bucket list too. Has been ever since I saw the team in this WC. 
In any case, good news, folks. My exams are officially over. (I may have to take mock prediction exams but it's basically on the same syllabus and if I mess up I can decide to just not send the predicted scores.) I'm also done with all Early Action applications and most of the more demanding scholarship applications. Now I have nothing due until January 1st, and between now and then is a beach vacation and a family wedding. Suddenly I have time on my hands (even after doing all extracurricular activities and whatever) and don't know what to do with it. That's a good problem to have, though. 
The word bed actually looks like a bed.

When you get there (if you have time), go to Viking World in Reykjanesbær. About two miles south of there is a restaurant called Pulsuvagninn. They short-changed me 18 years ago. See what you can do. Thanks in advance.
