What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
Just got the fajitas in the marinade for cinco de mayo. Should be ready for late this afternoon.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Listening to the thunder.

Managed to get the dogs to go outside and got them back in with only a light sprinkling before the sky opened up. Hopefully this will move on by quickly and not bring any of that damn Texas-sized hail with it.

I forgot all about Cinco de Mayo. I'm going to a Saints game tonight.

When cinco de mayo falls on a thursday...and you already had tacos (and fajitas) on tuesday...do you still have to celebrate?

I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

My wife and I visited the Academy of Natural Sciences in downtown Philadelphia this afternoon, to see the dinosaur bones and dioramas again.

For once on this road trip, didn't get up at the crack of dawn - left Stockton at about 9:45, hit In-N-Out for a double double animal style. Currently in NorCal, about an hour from the Oregon border. 614km to go.

We've put more miles on the car since yesterday morning than we did in the prior six months.

Yeah. We have been on I-5 since just north of LA.

We took 97 last time, there's not much time difference and 97 is a more scenic route. We considered it, but last time we started the last day over 3 hours closer, so we opted for the easier freeway drive.
