The most important reason anyone is an atheist
RE: The most important reason anyone is a atheist
Fun fact, enrico: scoffing like a fucking idiot isn't a rebuttal. No matter how arrogantly you feign amusement at the things we say, we can all tell that the truth is, you either cannot understand them, or have no response of any weight to them.

You got a problem mate.
If you would have look properly in one of my previous posts you would have found my answer to that question.Smile

You mean this (non) response?:

Quote:Eh, i am only a white belt.
When i get the black belt i will tell you.
But not really.
Even when i will get the black belt i will not tell you.
Have you ever seen a master going around the street to show his-her skills?
The last thing that the masters do is to show their skills to unbelievers.
Eventually they show to believers
You got to establish a real relationship with someone that you trust in order to enjoy love In this case spiritual love.
What's the point into show not believers something good
The rule is that you give fodder to donkeys and royal jelly to love ones.Smile

Oh...that was it......

.....oh. So you're basically just lying then about all this shit you're talking about, right? So you're, like, a big giant fraud?

So...what's in the green box? Tell us, and you can prove yourself right and us wrong.

How does it feel to be so delusional? Genuine question. I think your delusions have reached such a high point that they'd actually be interesting to study.

Poor, poor rico. Nobody believes him. Acting pompous doesn't equate with knowing anything. Too bad. You've got the arrogance down cold. If only there was any reason for it. Oh well.

So what policy are you following?

I am following the policy that says that if you make something up, I am not compelled to believe it.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Since when something non physical like consciousness can be study by physical science?
Can you see how foolish you are?Confused Fall
You have become an embarrassment to most of the other atheist guys.Confused Fall

This is just impossible, you have the scientific knowledge of a slug and the stubbornness of a mule coupled with the arrogance of King Joffrey himself.

Everything going on in the brain can be measured. The fact that you do not know this is testament to your incredible ignorance. We can tell when someone is asleep, unconscious, awake and in REM sleep all through brain waves and electrical and chemical activity in the brain. You are not only an embarrassment to theists everywhere but an embarrassment to humanity. The fact that this world could produce such an uneducated, illogical, irrational, mindless drone such as yourself, really makes me lose hope for this planet and the humans on it.

Me arguing with you is the equivalent of a person from the 21st century trying to explain what a mobile phone is to a caveman. It is absolutely pointless due to the fact that you can not even comprehend the things we are talking about, let alone understand them.

I wouldn't mind dissecting his brain to find out what has gone wrong in there, because there is definitely something wrong in there.

Acting pompous!
Good one.
I wanted to start a conversation on philosophy but no one could tell me the meaning of this word.
The same with religion and with all other issue but no one could tell me the basic which are how the religions started, what is the difference between religion and spirituality and so on.
So is the pompous the one who can not get answer or the one who write in forums related to these issue and not having a clue about them?Thinking

Gee, i must find very difficult to understand what you are talking about when you say that life is finite.
What would you ever mean considering that this truth of yours is not backed up by evidence?
Maybe you look at your crystal ball and you saw the truth in there?

I can't tell you the basics of religion or spirituality. There are many different traditions of which religion or spirituality plays a part. I also can't tell you what gods are, but then even those who claim to know what they are don't agree on a description. You probably have your own idea of what god is and you're welcome to it. But since I don't have one it isn't a topic of interest to me.

I do believe in consciousness however because I have direct experience of that. My suspicion is that our brains are elastic enough to support not only the program we call our conscious mind but also others, including whatever it is people believe to be their god.

We could discuss philosophy. I have some ideas. My own philosophic bent is toward plain speech. If a thing can be said at all it should be possible to say it simply. Anything which cannot be said plainly is suspect. The chief purpose of philosophy is to sketch out what is and isn't known in areas which are not yet fully understood.

There is also a history of philosophy. Unfortunately, many seem to think philosophy is a kind of bazaar where one can look for positions and opinions one might like to hold. That may be what many people do with it but that isn't philosophy.

You know its a bad rebuttal when I can replace just one word to turn your answer back at you. Replace finite with infinite.

Hey asshole. You're the one touting this intuitional science bullshit. Yet when given an opportunity to actually display it's awesome power you attempt to obfuscate and dodge.

So in summary, you're a fraud and a liar, not to mention a delusional crazy person. Me being arrogant doesn't stop that being true does it?

If I had a son, I'd immediately take him out of a school if it was teaching the same crazy bollocks you're forwarding and proceed to lobby for the imprisonment of those teachers supporting this on grounds of child abuse.

So what's in the goddamn box, mr fraud? Tell us or stick it up your ass.

I am 100% sure that, as I stated, I am not compelled to believe claims that he makes up. If he isn't just making something up, he can present his case. If it is compelling I would consider it further.

By the same token, I am not compelled to believe your made-up claims. If you aren't making things up, by all means present your case. If you are claiming that you've presented your case, I would have to say that it's not a compelling one.
