Um... I'm not an expert but if YHWH and Jesus are the same "person" shouldn't they go by the same name? Or is Jesus the name of the man, YHWH the name of the SuperDude and Emmanuel the name of the ghost?

LORD = Yahweh Lord refers to the man and God Jesus. The Jews would not say the name Yahweh, they considered doing so blasphemy. Most of the names such as Elohim were descriptive names, that's why it seems He has so many names.

Just add that to the pile of things that the Xtians changed so that they would not be associated directly with the Jews - Like the commandment "Keep Holy the Sabbath" was changed to go to church on Sunday and give money!

Of course - in the olden days it was not unusual to refer to a person based on their profession - so a man who sewed clothes (A tailor) - would be called a Needleman.

And a person who could not do anything of value would be called a PRIEST.
