It takes a lot of nerve to say "no more imposing religion on me." But my experiences is that it worked out for the better when I did.

I find it safe and logical to, "remain in the closet", I'm almost of the age to be kicked out lol, although im sure that wouldn't happen. However, I do have a lot of privileges that may be taken back for a very immoral reason.

As will I littlegrimlin.
I havent came out of the closet with my family yet. And I think it is a wise part for me to never tell my family that I am an atheist.

Because the "safe thing to do" totally worked for the Indian Independence Movement and the American Civil Rights Movement.

It is sad to hear how some parents behave. If my children wanted to be any religion I wouldn't stand in their way. I'd call them nuts, but I wouldn't stand in their way.

Oh I wish I had you as a mom binny, you are such a nice parent to your kids.
My mom on the other hand would try and change my views. My mom is an irish theist .

I take it you wouldn't try your hardest to keep your children out of college, Binny?
I envy your children... I hope they understand just how lucky they are
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

Danngg - Sae just slaped kudos at everyone.
What will the future withhold for atheism?
Will it be like... the opposite of now? Where everyone nearly is atheist, and like 6% religious? lol
