Here in the UK, religion is hardly a problem. Just about everyone is non-religious. It's great! I couldn't believe how bad it is over there. Almost my entire family are either atheists or agnostics. Only 2 members of my family are religious. Sometimes I hear a little religion on tv but it's rare. When I do hear of it, I either press the mute button or change channels. I'm sorry to hear it's so bad over there. It's that rare to bump into religion here that door knocking religious freaks are very rare. The only other place I can think of that has even less religious nuts is sweden. A place I'd like to move to sometime in the future.

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity. Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist. You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them. |
