I felt one question misrepresented the Bible. Extra kudos for anyone who can tell me which one it is and why I thought so.
PS I scored 40/50. Let me know how you did. There's a bunch that misrepresent the Bible for instance this:
"15. According to biblical anatomy, where does thinking happen?"
Yet in our culture emotions happen in the heart (and not the brain??)

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

Yet in our culture emotions happen in the heart (and not the brain??) There was IMO only one question which clearly misrepresented what the Bible was saying in the passage cited. It was not #15 which is quite correct in saying that the Bible never mentions the brain and which does acknowledge the modern metaphor of heart = emotions.
Quote:The word "heart" in the bible was not used in the modern sense of "emotion" because it is depicted as having thoughts, intentions, and imaginations. The emotions were usually considered to be in the kidneys (see below).

The emotions were usually considered to be in the kidneys (see below). My point is that emotions are not in any of our musscles they're in the brain - yet in our culture we count them as coming from the heart, and that in essence is the same as with cultures in Biblical times which had the heart as generating thoughts. Just like the heart cannot create emotions, nor can it think.
So everyone who buys one of these for instance is an unbelivable idiot?
Why don't they sell get-well cards with a brain in place of the heart????

In our culture we recognize the idea of emotions coming from the heart as a metaphor or if you will, a linguistic fossil from an earlier era of language. However, everyone knows that it is really the brain which is the physical seat of all our feelings.
I don't see this bit of incorrect science as a major flaw in the Bible, but it is true that the ancient Israelites seemed to have little interest in investigating or analyzing the natural world as compared to the Greeks. This is seen, for instance, in their ridiculous distinction between clean and unclean animals. Those which fell into the category of their traditional herd animals (cow, sheep, goat) eating grass and having a cloven hoof were considered clean. Those which differed on one point were considered unclean, rabbits and camels as they ate grass but lacked the cloven hoof and pigs as they had the cloven hoof but did not eat grass.
I will repeat, there is one other question in which the very verse which the quiz cites to "prove" its answer in fact shows that it is about another subject entirely.

Very enjoyable quiz - although I didn't do that well - 29.
I keep underestimating how bad God is.

If you are going to structure a test in such a way as to take literally those things which were parables you've shown quite clearly what your motive is.
Marcellus (approx. A.D. 298)
“I threw down my arms for it was not seemly that a Christian man, who renders military service to the Lord Christ, should render it by earthly injuries.” “It is not lawful for a Christian to bear arms for any earthly consideration.

I keep underestimating how bad God is. Your comment reminds me of an anecdote I read recently although I can't remember the source. Winston Churchill's son Randolph served in the army during the war. He was apparently an irrepressible chatterbox. Some of his fellow officers in the hope of getting some peace and quiet bet him that he could not read the bible through in a week. He took the bet, but it did not silence him. He kept laughing and slapping his knee and exclaiming, "God!!! What a shit God is!"

Is it number eleven?
Some translations say "calamity" or "disaster" rather than "evil".
(I don't remember my score, I took it a few days ago. It was somewhere in mid-passing range)

Any particular question you would like to challenge?
