Some children are better people than their parents.

How sad for such families where the nuclear bond of reciprocal love and honor and duty and trust are broken. Sad

How wonderful it might be if families took one day a week to put the "rat race" on hold and all sit down together face to face and maybe share a meal and renew those basic human family bonds which are above money and self.

How sad for the children in families that are indoctrinated with cult-like nonsense from an early age, in which non-scientific claims are constantly passed off as real science and in which outsider groups are deemed inferior and worthy of hellfire. Child abuse on a grand scale.

If you're only 16, just don't rock the boat. Religious people buy into all sorts of things that are blatantly false, no need to feel guilty about lying to them esp. in a church which is no more "holy" than any other place. Since you've freed yourself from the doctrine, I hope you can free yourself from all that Catholic guilt they've drilled into you.
Heaven is where fantasy meets hedonism. I'm on my way to where cynicism meets hedonism. If you'd like to come with me, bring something because you're not tagging along for free.
