I grew up in a Christian home so the thought of not celebrating it is alien to me. I love Christmas, I love the warmth of a decorated home and the food, the time with family, movies and gift giving. I just celebrate it in a secular fashion is all. No Hymns, no praying and no Jesus.
I also really really enjoy making assholish "War on Christmas" Christians squirm when they ask me why I celebrate as an atheist, and let them know they in no way have ownership of the holiday.

Christmas is my favorite secular holiday. Atheists who try to make a big deal about it are just douchebags who need to shut up and drink a glass of spiked eggnog.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

I just don't celebrate Christmas full stop, it is just another public holiday for me, plus it is near the midsummer solstice in the Southern hemisphere where I live. Although I do send Christmas/Hanukkah cards to various people.

I think I'll take my information on what constitutes a humanist from real, legitimate humans, and not some form of animate, human sized dick in a batman cowl.

What is boxing day? Do you duke it out or put stuff in boxes? Guess I'd better read a bit further to see if you've already explained what it is. Or wait .. there is always the internet.

Boxing Day is December 26, ie the hangover from xmas Day. The remains of xmas dinner, often disguised as sandwiches, telly which didn't make the xmas day cut, the realisation that, after all the build-up, xmas is as far away as it ever was. I have no idea of its origin but interestingly for me, I understand that it also used to be called St Stephen's day or the Feast of Stephen (of Good King Wenceslas fame). Alternate spelling aside, since it shares my real name my lifelong attempts to claim it as my own special day and feast thereon are ongoing.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Don't hate.
If secular humanists spent half their billboard-warring budgets on helping the poor, they would begin to earn my respect.
