Pro abortion or not

Yes you are. Even though Victoria is the only State to specifically legalize "elective" abortions right up to the point of birth, in practise it's done right throughout Australia. Late-term abortions occur whenever mother's threaten self-harm or are otherwise considered mentally unprepared; and the life of the baby isn't considered against this (it's not alive until it's born, even if it's been 38 weeks).

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke

Oh great, the nonsensical and downright false argument of some golden age of the US. Hoorah.

RE: Pro abortion or not
I'm pro abortion. I cannot take care of kids and unfortunately, even being safe I've gotten pregnant once. I guess I wasn't safe enough.
Abortion is something hard for anyone to understand if you haven't been through it. Even with my understanding of it, I was left feeling emtpy and like I killed my child. I still struggle with it from time to time as it never fully leaves the back of my mind.

With that said. People who've had an abortion (those who were okay and those who regretted it) should be allowed to decide. They actually have the experience and anyone else that is for or against it is irrelevant because they haven't experienced it themselves and have no room to talk. Don't take this as a dismissal of the much appreciated support for us. But if you haven't had your arm cut off can you really say you understand how a paraplegic feels?

The shame you can feel, the self hatred is very real and very intense. Abortions should not be taken lightly and should not be ruled by people who have no understanding of what it takes to mentally (and physically) to prepare yourself for it.

Sadly, it's all a political game to the republicunts. The last thing they care about are women.

One only needs to see what those assclowns in Texas (as always) are up to.

http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/24/health/pre...ort-texas/

Quote:Munoz, 33, has been brain dead since her husband, Erick Munoz, discovered her unconscious at home on November 26, Machado said. The family says she is being kept alive on a ventilator at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, even though she would not want her life prolonged by a machine.

Of course she is not being "kept alive." She is brain dead. Even in fucking Texas that means something...except when it comes to being elected to a state office.

Quote:"This patient is neither terminally nor irreversibly ill," said Dr. Robert Fine, clinical director of the office of clinical ethics and palliative care for Baylor Health Care System. "Under Texas law, this patient is legally dead."

No.

Once the foetus is viable, it is no longer just about you.

Bullshit, pro birth does not constitute pro quality of life after birth. Unless it is your body you have no say, period.
