I don't think a reasonable God would want you to believe six centuries later that Jesus never event to the cross based on a guy all by himself in a cave who said so.

But it's ok for a guy all by himself on an internet forum to just say so?

And what makes you think that "God" is reasonable anyway? Particulary since, according to the mythology, it 'created' the Universe in such a way as to allow for the emergence of a race of upstart apes on one tiny ball of rock and iron; a race which apparently become so evil that this supreme creator has literally no choice but to violate a woman's free will in order that it could be born as one of those apes and cause itself to be sacrificed to itself as the only way it could change a rule that it made by itself.

If you can supply evidence for any part of that, I'm all ears. In fact I'll convert on the spot.
