You know, G-C, xtians did not even start to depict the alleged crucifixion of their godboy until the 5th century.

Who cares about the art, it's the words written in the first century by those who were alive at the time, how dumb can one be to think that pictures would trump the written word of those who lived in the same time. Oh yeah, one who plays in the sandbox.
The archaeology in this account has nothing to provide, just extrapolation formed out of ignorance. Here I thought you were good at history, well seems I now know better or you are trying to make an argument from distorting history.

Except they weren't written in the first century but late in the second and edited by pious quacks long after that.
If you didn't have your head shoved so firmly up your holy butt you would know that.
Sad for you but large parts of the story only became important to xtians after they had attained a measure of political power, courtesy of the Roman empire which...if only they had a little more common sense would have saved all of us a metric fuckton of trouble.

As I said I now know you will distort history, which is your god, to make yourself look better, you would fit just fine in the story of Adam and Eve. Even most of the atheist here have said the originals were written in the first century, just a few desperate people as yourself still cling to the nonsense of the second century.

Desperately clinging to history (A.K.A. reality) or desperately clinging to our local woo god myth... ahh! which will it be?.. which will it be?...

It is true any answer given by Christians concerning Jesus is likely to be stupid. But in this case they can hide behind "you ask a stupid question....".

It's not a "stupid" question, Chuck, just one that flew way over your head. There was no time for the creation of scars unless jesus was alive for three days. A dead body does not create scars. Any scars would have had to have been fabricated by god purely to deceive the followers into seeing something that they wrongly expected. A sort of god's photoshop.
If they were open wounds and not scars as described, jesus would have been a Zombie walking around all gross and rotten.
