I get that they like money. We all like money, but what do they feel when large swaths of nature are destroyed to make way for mines, oil and gas operations, suburban expansion, etc? Isn't it a bad thing to destroy God's creations? Does this make God angry or is he ok with it? Do Christians fundamentally hate nature and wilderness?

I don't like to admit this, but many if not most evangelical christians seem to think that Christ is coming back very soon and that the present day world will be destroyed anyway. That makes many of them seem to be unconcerned with the state of the world today. I am not of that mind, but Jesus said we wouldn't know the day of his coming untill he it's here. It could be today or a thousand years from now. I personally believe in conservationism, but not to an extreme degree, that would destroy the economy or whatever.
Mainly because they are all full of shit.
Quote:"No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money." (NLT, Luke 16:13) They claim this is what their godboy said....but most think he got that one wrong!
Because they think of themselves before anything else...even their own children and grandchildren that will inherit their fucking mess.
Only godless evil commie muslim facists care about the environment. It starts with recycling and solar panels and the next thing you know, we're all living under Shariah law.

We were told to subdue this world, to work the ground and to rule over it and all in it. |
