You need something like Tahrir Square.... which ended up doing them a shitload of good didn't it but that is the scale needed to get the attention of the power structure.
Tea Party finally farting itself to death?

Yeah right, that's why an impoverished area like Gosport always votes in a tory, because we are arbitrarily linked to the more prosperous areas of Hill Head and Stubbington that for everything else are part of Fareham. Then again, according to the 2012 dispatches from the conservative bubble, Romney was a shoe-in. As little as I want them to gain more power than they already have, a part of me is content to give them all the rope they need. Even the dim-bulb working class rubes who vote for them can't be deceived forever. You can only play the God and guns card for so long before it yields ever diminishing returns -- especially if your social and fiscal policies are antithetical to the interests of the very people who provide the votes sufficient to gain and hold power. That's my problem. On one hand I am in horror at what some american's think passes as intelligent government (tea-party), but on the other, they are killing the party for us. Depends if the moderate republicans smarten up and realize that gerrymandering is killing them off too. The more they gerrymander the more radical the rightwing becomes. If moderate republicans ever want to recover the party they have to undo it and that will open the door to a more fair representation of the people of this country.
Anyway, I would really like to see the teabaggers crash & burn. Fascist movements like the teabaggers always gain traction during economic recessions. Get the economy back up & they will go away. But, that article is from three months ago. The site is now working just fine and enrollments are back on track, and the GOP has been characteristically shooting themselves in the foot ever since.
