What's your poison?

RE: What's your poison?
I barely drink, because it tends to affect my sensitive GI, but I love most wines. That is my preference. Hard apple cider is good as well, though. Beerwise, I do love just plain old Bud, and Guinness.

Blasphemy! Those two beers should not occupy the same sentence.

You live in a city with both Green Flash AND Stone breweries! So much good!

If I could stand the taste of alcohol, I'd probably drink some Trappist beer; we owe it to them, since Trappists make what is considered to be the best beers in the world and they're the part of the Catholic clergy least likely to molest children. I tried some Rochefort 6 and it was the most enjoyable experience I've had with alcohol in my life. Granted, it still tasted horrible, but it tasted less horrible than all the other alcohol I've tried. Either that or some Bacardi.

And now I wish I could find a clip from the episode of MASH where Hawkeye gives his recipe for the perfect dry martini: take six jiggers of gin and drink them while staring at a picture of Leonard Schwartz, inventor of vermouth.

And cue protests from Thesummerqueen about how "GIN. IS. DISGUSTING." in three... two... one...
