I don't know if she was christian or not, but obviously she was insane.
I doubt a muslim would claim that jesus did much of anything.

Yes, Ben, there are a lot of people who rail against the behavior. Unfortunately, many of our chief justices are also religious.

A Christian uses Jesus, an atheist uses a twinkie....whats the difference?
Someone should put this in the "You're A Special Kind of Stupid" category.
Ronedee, let me explain to you why this is so painfully stupid you god damn dumb fucking cow.
This Clarksville woman used Jesus as an excuse to allow her child to die. Whether the child died in the bathtub or after the fact matters not, as no effort was made to provide the child with medical aide. The woman simply decided to invoke the name of Jesus in an attempt to absolve her of any wrong-doing. Now your comparison: Has ANYONE, in the history of time, EVER heard of an Atheist, or ANYONE for that matter, use a Twinkie as a justification for killing a child? Anyone? Anyone at all?

Well, as Einstein said: "there are no limits" to 2 things!
You have one of them covered squarely!

Yes Ron, religion would be covered under human stupidity. Your point?

You assume this Christian 'used' Jesus. Can you prove that she's not telling the truth?

You know someone has reached the limit of their responses when they start throwing the insults . . .

Quote:CLARKSVILLE, TENN. — A Clarksville woman charged with killing her 7-month-old daughter Friday told police “Jesus came down” and took her daughter to heaven while she was bathing her, according to an arrest warrant.
Have you forgotten the story about Abraham slicing and dicing Issac because some voice in his head told him to do it? People liked that story so much that they started several religions off of it. So what's the big deal about a woman drowning her baby in a bath tub? At least she didn't roast the kid like Abraham was prepared to do. So if she said Jesus told her to do it she should walk. If you can't believe her how can you believe a story thousands of years old about a deity talking to a crazy Middle East nomad who had zero morals?

You make a good point, Wyrd. One might have hoped that humanity would have advanced a bit in the last 2500 years but sometimes hopes do not pan out, do they?
