So why doesn't he appear before a devout believer like you and tell you where that plane is? 
See, there are two ways to take what you've just said: either now our original premise is true, where god just doesn't care, or much more disconcertingly, he does care, but is prevented from helping out due to how little you christians care.
So which is it? Is god choosing not to help, or are you choosing not to ask him?

Irrelevant. That's not how it works.
If some ship or submarine stumbles across the black box signal some jesus freak...let's make up a name, say "G-C" will show up claiming that fucking jesus directed them to that spot.
If the plane is never heard or seen again it will be because 'god works in mysterious ways' and besides...they're mainly a bunch of foreigners so who cares?
