The tomb was empty.
That would be the tomb of Joseph of Aramathea (spelling? - looks almost right). No-one knows who he was. There was no Aramathea. All a bit suspect. So the empty tomb might mean the dead body that was in it got up and walked out, or that the Nice Mr. Jo. A. was a necrophile and disappeared with the body and a large quantity of lube.
Kuusi palaa, ja on viimeinen kerta kun annan vaimoni laittaa jouluvalot!
Hell, having an empty tomb isn't even really that big of a deal. My tomb is empty right now, you don't see me crowing about how I'm the son of god.
Egotistical, that's what Jesus is.

Now we're all just standing around here looking awkward and avoiding eye contact. Sorry - but YOU have failed to prove that the scriptures are true - you have yet to prove the christ existed Quoting the scriptures does not proof them - it only proves YOU have nothing to prove them with AS far as how the scriptures have changed others - I could say the same things about the writtings of Buddha - and Confucius - and there is NOTHING in the bible regarding moral and ethics that is original to the bible. ALL of it existed in the writings of prior religions or prior people. SO we accept that YOU admit you have NO real evidence and therefore reject your claims (March 29, 2014 at 2:57 pm)Revelation777 Wrote: Tomb is empty Which one? Glad it works for you. That's not proof.

The Romans normally did. If the Romans executed you by crucifixion, your corpse stayed up on that cross until it rotted off. This was intended as a gruesome warning to the population, "don't fuck with us or our laws". The Romans never allowed anyone who was crucified a burial.

So you're saying Jesus' buddies stole his body from the cross and buried it in a hidden location? The Romans probably followed them and took back what they had rightfully killed when the disciples weren't looking. Bam! Empty tomb mystery solved!
