I mean seriously. How can anyone be so stupid to think that your god is sitting on the shoulders of billions of people reading trillions of digital conversations. It seems obvious to me that your god would've long since smited me and Min for the shit we write about his son/split personality on a daily basis.

What do those verses mean to me? If a Hindu told me about some random passage in the Bhagvad Gita or the Ramayana should I consider the implications of those as well? Should I also consider the possible wrath of Zeus for ignoring the Greeks? How bout the other 3000 superstitions? Should I be careful not to mock them because they have some stupid verse written by some primitive fucktard?

THE god would actually know about every criminal offense that ever happened and/or ever will happen - before humans ever existed to do them. By failing to prevent them - the god is nothing more than abetting every crime ever committed.

Please. The fact that Jesus didn't return and establish his kingdom was already an embarrassment to the church by the time 2 Peter was written, hence the shameless spin. To quote it in the 21st Century as some kind of assurance that all will come to pass is simply pathetic. Grow up.
