The three teens robbed and assaulted two elderly men before attacking the man who shot one of them in self-defense. Two of these criminals had records and the uninjured 15 year old admits that they had planned an afternoon of assault and robbery. If anything I'd say this story should be used as an example for pro gun advocacy. Right or wrong, I see nothing here that could possibly be deemed helpful to the argument of an anti-gun proponent.

He was shot while he and two of his friends were beating up an old man attempting to ride his bike.




Once again, I have no sympathy for criminals or the people who would make the victim out to be the bad guy.
What is a sixty-five year old man supposed to do against three violent young men? Take a beating or worse simply because "I don't like guns."

That teen got exactly what he deserved. You don't want to get shot? Don't attack people.

It only says that 16-year-old Julius Johnson had a criminal record. Julius is the one who kicked the man. It doesn't say who pushed him off the bike.
The other kids could have been pressured into this. I think the old man should have used less force.

In the U.S. we killed many a healthy happy Briton for the freedom to be unmolested by King George's goons who bothered us very little in contrast to what our own thug section of our society does to us daily.

We don't feel guilt over it at all, we celebrate it every July 4th.

Should Americans fight for the freedom to ride bikes in parks unmolested?

You really need to give it up on this argument. Sometimes it's better to not say anything than to show how ignorant you are.
