What are some good checkmate arguments against religion?

RE: What are some good checkmate arguments against religion?
Difficulty with theodicy is by far the weakest part of most religions but it is also a far cry from conclusive. Likewise the mystery of consciousness is the weakest point for materialistic atheism.

It's as equally weak for theism because you can't demonstrate the alleged truth of any of the answers you supposedly have. Compared to all the other problems of religion, our biggest weakness is just one tiny star in religion's sky of critical and fundamental flaws.

Quote:“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

Are there any more sayings like this? Do you have any of your own arguments?

Thanks in advantage.

Your questions do nothing to disprove the existence of God. All they do is show that God isn't what you think he should be.

It isn't intended to disprove the existence of your god. What it does, successfully, is disprove the notion that your god is an omnipotent being of pure good.

It just bothers me. It should be advance instead of what you used.

I have no problem in comprehending consciousness. I honestly cannot understand why people get so hung up on it, as though it is the end all.

I really don't understand why you're so hot on this one particular argument from ignorance, Chad. Thinking

Or metaphysical. Or rare. Or unique.

LOL. Sorry but "unexplained" doesn't mean "spiritual," it means unexplained.
