Intelligent Design: Did you design yourself?
RE: Intelligent Design: Did you design yourself?
I hope not - it's my best thing!
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Yeah but we don't care unless you're a theist doing it.

People get banned for various reasons if they break the rules sufficient to warrant it, theist and atheist alike. You are not privy to Staff discussion; please take your conspiracy claptrap elsewhere. Artur was banned for trolling behaviour. Let that be an end to it.

Stimbo, I do think you guys are for the most part consistent. I see you ban lots a people who aren't argumentative theists. You're not going to be perfectly consistent even though you strive....you're human after all. What side of your imperfection is going to get the shit end of the stick?

For the record if you do happen to see any examples of us showing favouritism towards atheists and injustices against theists you can always let us know directly.

Well, none of the more important decisions are taken in a vacuum. Nobody, apart from spammers and socks, can even be banned without a Staff quorum and every one of us is given free reign to share our opinions. It's not a perfect system but at least it has the potential to minimise the possibility of mistakes. Even if a mistake is made, it's never irreversible. Bans can be overturned.

I might add that the fact that Artur was given only a three-day ban speaks volumes - it could just as easily have been permanent.

Yeah, because we never ban atheist members for bad behavior.

Why do we get these cries of "foul!" every time we sanction someone's friend?

That was largely rhetorical, by the way.
