Hello Vodkafan, and thanks for the question.
During my earliest memories I can remember having some sort of fate. My mother dragged my little brother and I to church every Sunday. It wasn't until I entered my teens that I started becoming skeptical. I discovered I was gay at 14-15yrs old. The realization was crushingly painful for me. Still, I believed in some sort of "god". By the age of 18 I was agnostic. By my mid 20s I was fully an Atheist. So it wasn't a bad experience with church, it was just my own skepticism of the foolish rituals surrounded by religion.
I wanted no part of it.

I think in some instances the LGBTs have it worst, but in some ways Atheists have it alittle harder.
what do you think
Atheists have it 10000 times easier. I'm an atheist and not gay by the way but its pretty obvious gay people have it worse.
Just think in general how much more common it is for people to say "That's gay" Meaning that's undesirable/ stupid/ weird. How more common is it for people to make fun of someone because they're a man and enjoy being bummed (anal sex).
In my whole time at secondary school I was never ever once insulted for being an atheist but I must have been called gay at a conservative estimate of about 500 times, and I'm a straight atheist.
I can't think of a single atheist slur word but off the top of my head there's bender, gaylord, bummer, arse bandit, fagot for gay people. And those took me about 5 seconds to think of.
On a global scale countries in which you can be hanged for homosexual practices, and several places well known for attacks against homosexuals for example Russia and Africa.
There's places where being an atheist is frowned upon and is punishable by death in instances of apostasy in Islamic countries but these are countries which usually treat homosexuality much worse anyway.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

The way I look at it, I can be myself and most people will assume that I am just another sheep. If I were gay, I couldn't be myself without regular harassment where I live. If I were transgender, forget about it.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

DAMN IT I HATE HUMANS,
Labels are a matter of geography, upbringing, social norms, and era. Long term though they have nothing to do with our evolutionary behavior in that we have always been as a species capable of both cruelty and compassion.
If we want to lean more as a species to non violence and pluralism, we cannot get stuck on how others might hurt us in the moment. Yes we should remember those things absolutely. But again, power shifts over time and to assume that because we are being hurt now will preclude us from hurting others in the future is a mistake.
Ultimately we still are the same species.

Well of course they do. Can't get any harder than two guys unless you throw in some more guys.
Course... I'm assuming they're in like... perfect health.

Well, more for me, then. I think that they are delicious with a little rosemary and a dash of sage fried in some canola oil, mmn-mmm! Once you go human... you can never go back, Charlie.

It doesn't fit. That's why they wanna get out of their bodies so badly.
Alice can help them to get out of their... skin.

Tentacled. Disgusting how speciesist humans can be... judging people based on their tentacles, oh what's next: refusing jobs to the right-handed people?!

So... you are gay?? Well, that's okay. Because, you see: I love you an-ee-way!

There's an easier route than to existing in a 'transgendered' state. Just join Alice in death! See, the hook is that I'm so friendly. We can play together: forever... just your spirit and me.
And maybe a dog named.... Smee.
