My heart weeps for the people on this site, so hateful, so lost, I hope when te rapture comes, and ten the 7 dy tribulation takes place you can see you error and be saved
The Bible says that the light of the moon is its own light. How is that fact? Did you ever open a science book? The light of the moon is a reflected light. Have you read your Bible? Even if you stick purely to symbolic events, Jesus doesn't even fulfill the sign of Jonah, after telling the Jews, you wicked and adulterous generation, thou seek for a sign? A miracle? NO SIGN shall be given to you but the sign of Jonah. And Jesus never fulfills that sign, so Jesus is? A liar.
I'm not even talking about moral issues here. If God created us, he can do what he wants to us, he can kill women, children etc. He made us, he can break us in any creative way that amuses him. The problem is that all scriptures are wrong, inaccurate, and all scientific facts point towards the absence of God, and the presence of an unaware process called creation, that proceeds by mindless iteration. It's like John has the password for his computer, he is a self-aware human being, he only enters his password once and it's correct. Creation is like a BruteForce hack that proceeds by iteration, trying billions of passwords until it finds the right one. Can you say Bruteforce is God? Can you?
The reason we are here is NOT because God made it right, it's because creation tried everything else, and we happen to be the right password. Look at planet Venus, Mercury? Do you know the surface temperature of Venus? Would you like to be there? Did God screw that one up? Wake up bro.
Do you even know what the sign of Jonah is, if you did you would know Jesus very much fufilled it, and Idk what bible yore reading, but the bible never said that about the moon, atheists need to learn to stop using the honor against us, it meee turns out good for them, because they never actually read it just take what people say and think it's right, when 99% of the time it's not. Scientist, including atheist scientist have proven te bible to factual history, how many times does that need to be said before you take it into your head,
And science points more to a creator than it does to not a creator, and no, honestly I think God made the other planets and galaxies and everything else in the univers, just so we have stuff to discover and to show how powerful he is, and no, creation is nothing like that, you wanna know what atheistic views are like? Yes, we have been known to be hypocritical and small minded, but many of us want only to save you from a place meant only for the devil and his vile demons.
You can be that knight. You can fight a spiritual fight for Jesus Christ. Maybe you could be the one to bring these wayward souls on this site to Him.
Stop trying to shoe horn God into your life and simply accept Him for the amazing deity He is!

I got a question. Do you believe that Jesus is God, and that the trinity is Father, Son and Holy Spirit where the three are one (God)?
Jesus is the physical emobyment of God without Gods knowledge, the Holy Spirit is Gods force moving through man, so test geyser the same in one

No. Science has shown that many of the people and locations mentioned in the bible existed. That doesn't give ANY credence to the supernatural claims.
For instance, there's no evidence of hundreds of thousands of Hebrew slaves in Egypt, let alone the "events" of Exodus. There's absolutely NO evidence for a global flood and, contrary to many claims, not all cultures have a legend about a global flood.
There's no mention of Jesus or the "events" of his life until decades after those events supposedly happened.
As to scientific evidence for "creation" - there isn't any.

Thank you for losing the debate. It is mentioned in the gospel if Isaiah, chapter number 13, verse number 10 which says:
"The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light."
and in Ezekiel, chapter number 32, verse number 7, that the light of the moon is it's own light:
" When I snuff you out, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give its light."
and in the gospel of Mathew, chapter number 24, verse number 29 which says:
" Immediately after the distress of those days "'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken."
gospel of Mark, chapter number 13, verse number 24:
" But in those days, following that distress, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light"
Also, the sign of Jonah states that, AS Jonah was, 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the whale, so shall the son of man be? 3 DAYS and 3 NIGHTS in the heart of the earth. Jesus was in the tomb on Friday night, on Saturday day, on Saturday night, and on Sunday morning, Mary Magdalen saw him disguised as a gardner.
That's not 3 days and 3 nights. You can call Einstein to help you. It will never be 3 days and 3 nights. Besides, if Jesus died, then, he must have been spiritualized, angelized. And Jesus tells us that spiritual bodies shall NOT DIE ANYMORE. So why be afraid? Why dress as a gardner? Why remove the stone? Why unwound the sheets? If he was a spirit, he need not remove the stone, he need not unwound the sheets and he need not be afraid of the Jews also!

That's what I meant when I said factual history, and yes, the story of Moses has already been proven, how they got across the sea we "don't know" but it still happened, no there is very little evidence of Noah but you'd just shrug it off, and Jesus, i have to completly call you off on that one, there is thousands of journals and news and speaking a of Jesus walking the Earth, and glad I found one more understating atheists on this site, that makes a total of two so far

That does not say it gives off it's own light, you totally over interpret it, the sun gives the moon it's light and te moon gives us the suns light, so you wanna te that one again? And Jonah was in the belly if the whale for 3 days and two nights, again stop trying to use the bible against is it doesn't work out,
Jesus loves the stone as a show of his power, and Jesus disguised himself to see if Mary would recognize him, again stop using te bible, because you use it completley wrong

Nope: Once again
NO evidence for Exodus. Why would a god leading his people to the promised land take 40 years to cross Sinai? Alexander the Great led his armies across the Middle East to India and back in around a decade.
NO evidence of Noah's flood. THere's evidence for large local floods in many regions of the world but absolutely none for an all encompassing one.
No contemporary evidence for Jesus. The Roman, in particular, were notorious record keepers, but they have no mention of Jesus or any of the events associated with him. And the bible sources are contradictory to say the least.
If you have evidence, please present it. We are open minded, generally, but not to personal claims.
"I saw Jesus" or "God talks to me" are up there with "I was abducted by aliens" - personal claims with no supportive evidence.

Oh, I would love evidence concerning Noah and the ark, for I find it one of the most absurd stories that some people actually take seriously. There is nothing about that tale that is even slightly logical.

Thoughts? I spent decades believing in god, and it was a comforting feeling. When I finally cast off religion and realized that 'god' was the guy who stared back at me in the mirror every morning, I felt pretty good about that as well. I think that life is what we make of it, and not having god wasn't much different than having god, seeing as he didn't do anything for me while I was a believer.
Mostly what changed for me was realizing that I had a lot more control over my life than I allowed myself to have before. Haven't looked back, and honestly I cannot fathom ever becoming a religious person again.

Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Hey, theonewhoanswersquestions,
How about answeringthisherequestion about the Exodus?
Where is the evidence for 1.5 million Jews wandering around the desert for 40 years? enslaved in Egypt? A population roughly the size of the modern-day Milwaukee metro area. No garbage dumps, no animal bones, no nothing from that time period, in that area. A population that would comprise a huge fraction of the overall Egyptian population and when the Jews allegedly left, would have caused great upheaval in Egypt.
Yet, there is zero evidence of any such event occurring.
Please. Do tell!
No Adam and Eve. No Noah. No Exodus. No Abraham. No Moses.
Your beliefs are built on sand.
