Wrong! According to your own mythology the "sacrifice" was exactly why Jesus was on Earth in the first place. Because, apparently, an all powerful deity couldn't change its own rules any other way. Also, I'm not Luckie - she's a mod. I'm Beccs. I know those names are so similar it's hard not to mix us up, but you really need to be more careful. The "Rapture" isn't even a part of standard Christian mythology. It was invented by some American clergy over a century ago. It's why you never hear talk of the "rapture" outside of American Christianity. And, no, I won't be dragged back into your mythology. And threats don't work on me. Threats of imaginary torment only work on the weak minded and those already indoctrinated to the fear. Ref. Post #433: Sodom couldn't have been too bad. It's going to be rebuilt in all its splendor. It's sure to be the top tourist attraction of all time. Now will be a good time to trademark all of the souvenirs, such as "I went to Sodom and wasn't turned into a pillar of salt.".

Maybe it's not a good idea to be bringing up Sodom in a discussion about sex and divinity. Because, see, when I remember the story of Sodom, I also remember the part of it where the one holy, good man in the town, who was down with god, offered his virgin daughters up to gang rape. I wouldn't bring up Sodom in reference to sex because all that tells me is that free, consensual sex is a no-no for god, but that one can facilitate gang rape and still be righteous.
