Is it just not worth it sometimes?

Is it just not worth it sometimes?

I've thrown up my hands and walked away from a couple arguments here because the other side was ignoring my points and/or simply repeating baseless assertions and claiming to refute my points. I've also pushed at some posters who simply ignore my arguments because they actually pose a counter to what they are claiming and they simply refuse to deal with the point.

It's the misdirection and changing the subject that drives me bonkers. Either answer the question I ask you or stop talking.

yeah. when people like you start trying to talk "evidence". Stupid is stupid. it is independent of belief.

Considering how much you care about your spelling, shows how much you care about any message you try to convey.

In other words, with all the spellcheck Software freely available, why don't you use one?

100% agreement with you.

I have responded to a few of those types of threads. But once I've said my peace, I'm pretty much done. Some drag those arguments out forever! Boring!!

Truth is, you are not going to find a magical combination of words, that will suddenly draw the other person, to your way of thinking. I suppose some just enjoy the continuous bantering?! Dunno

I hate to derail, however I just want to ask what you're contributing to this forum aside snide and petty remarks directed towards people for absolutely no reason?

I could understand if you'd been in a heated debate over a subject you're posting about, but literally all you do is show up in a thread, attack someone by denigrating them, and then leave. Why do you do this? What do you gain from this behaviour?
