I don't think so. (Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong of course.) I think slut shaming is specifically about coming down harder on women than on men.

The truth is in the definition (which I posted). Men very rarely have to deal with slut shaming but any time you shame a person for their sexual behaviors (obviously barring things like rape) it is slut shaming.

Rape culture -to me- is about dismissing rape with an attitude of "boys will be boys". One sex's youthful hijinks can't make the other sex's violation okay. Suppressing what may come naturally is precisely what is at stake. Pro-social behavior means not sticking your dick where it isn't welcome (unless you're play acting of course).

I have a hard time believing that rape is a natural male urge that must be suppressed. People are not that good at suppressing their natural urges. If that was the case the majority of men would be rapists.

Critcising promiscuous behaviour is the practice of devaluing a person to the level of merchandise, further devaluing them every time they're used.

Equality is generations away. Sexism is so entrenched in society that even many women can't see it and if they do they are suddenly feminazis.

Don't be ridiculous, do you even know what a 'feminazi' is? The people who tried to cancel Colbert and tried to cancel Fathers day. They are the people we refer to when we use the term 'feminazi'. Its kind of a general term we use for bad feminists who are such hypocrites refusing to see double standards, feminists who hate men, feminists who are just as sexist as they claim men to be.

I think women and men can be concerned about all sexist problems, big or small, no matter what country.

Again, bad men exist. We are not denying that sexism against women is real, but in the west, feminism is a joke, they have nothing left to fight for and so attack anything that can vaguely be interpreted as sexist towards women. You never hear the public outcry of feminists who attack a tv advert where a hansom muscled man is advertising something with his top off. But if the gender was switched, feminazis would be all over it. Equality and sexism works both ways, the bad feminists tend to forget that.

No there isn't any danger in that. In the west, women have just as many rights as men, infact they get special treatment on occasions, child custody, length of prison sentances for the same crime etc...

Just because other women in other countries are worse off does not mean that there is no sexism in the US or that sexism in the US isn't something that we should speak out against.

My general opinion on feminism is the following:

I think feminism, as a movement that strives for gender equality, should be encouraged and promoted as an attempt to congregate basic fundamental rights. But, I am against incoherent behaviour by feminists, the kind of behaviour (just using a classical example) of 'I want to make the same wage as men, but men should pay for my dinners otherwise they are not real men' or 'women should be independent, men are all a bunch of pigs', seriously, if you want equality for women you should have coherent worthy conducts, not contradicting ones, feminazis are the reason so many people, specially males, seem to hate feminists (it gives origin to a stereotype).

I also support positive discrimination for both sexes, depending on the situation. The case of the mother having a higher period of time absence of work to be with her newborn, or the man being chosen more frequently for a highly physically demanding job because men on average have more physical strength - I don't consider this discrimination, but practical choices to benefit society

When I go camping with my girlfriend I always put the tent and she organizes stuff inside, is this some kind of gender roles? Not really, she is just better at putting stuff at their places and organizing everything, I have more strength therefore I put the tent in it's place as secure as possible, we are simply making the most efficient profit of our optimal skills.

I also think feminists should start worrying more about States where women in fact have fewer rights and are treated below animals instead of worrying about society in the west having prejudices with women dressed with a top the size of a bra.

That there are places on earth where things are even shittier is no reason to lay aside any particular place where they are still shitty, but arguably less so. If we avoided fixing problems until all other more egregious problems were addressed that would, itself - become an egregious problem. To whit, sure, cancer is a thing - but I'm trying to breed a better tomato at present.

Sure, but spending most resources fixing a less important problem is not worth the time. It's like a doctor healing a patient who twisted an ankle instead of performing a surgery to save someone near death. It doesn't mean we shouldn't simultaneously fix the less important issue, but we should put more effort into the serious one

And the stereotype attributed to women wearing tops the size of a bra is perfectly rational here. Stereotypes are not bad nor god, they just are. If most women wearing those tops wouldn't bang every guy on the block the prejudice wouldn't exist.
