Got a new sundial, but it's crap. It keeps time okay, but it doesn't say if it's AM or PM.

It sort of defeats the purpose if it's not solar powered.
Years ago, I came up with a design for a portable sundial. I don't want to give too much away in case I become Elon Musk II with it; but it used clockwork and a built-in lamp in place of the Sun.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

My new cowboy satnav arrived this morning. I took it for a test drive in South London. It gave me a route in Tooting in good time.
