If God provided for that prayer, but not for your prayers for those kids, he's a cunt. If you didn't make any, believing as you do that you have a hotline to an omnipotent god, then you're a cunt.

Well, you will be pleased to know that is what Hell is for. To separate yourself from all in whom you believe to be a "cunt." After all how can you spend an eternity in service of a deity who doesn't make every life like a living dream.

Is that so? I thought that the people in heaven were the people who knew Christ and the people in hell were the people who did not. Didn't realise it was demarked on the basis of my assessment of how much of an asshat I think people are! Wow, I'm not sure I'm comfy with that sort of power.

However I didn't opine that God would be a cunt for not making every life a living dream. I opined that he would be a cunt for answering prayers like "need to find my car keys", "need to cure my dicky back" and of course "need a like minded person in an internet discussion", but NOT answering prayers like "please influence your followers to stop bombing a city full of innocent civilians" and such.

Or, of course, perhaps he doesn't exist. Perhaps Rev is just giving him credit for what to him is a happy co-incidence. That seems a lot more likely to me than a wildly inconsistent God who directly intervenes to give people stuff which might well have happened anyway but not to answer far more worthy prayers.
