What do dogs have to do with global warming? A dogs carbon footprint is quite large, they consume a lot of meat which requires land which could be used to plant trees. Cow milk isn't essential for humans so it's no loss. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason. RE: what is our stance on global warming?

dbp, let me make some alterations to your statements...

What do dogs have to do with global warming?Removing one unnecessary pet dog reduces your carbon-footprint by the same amount as removing not one, but two 4WD (SUV) vehicles (link). There are an estimated 4.2 million pet dogs in Australia, removing all of them would be the same, ecologically speaking, as removing 8.4 million 4WD's (or even more smaller cars). As the population of Australia is 23.5 million, so you can see that just by killing all pet dogs and replacing them with 4WD's the world would be a much better place. Milk is very nutrient-dense and helps balance diets that are high in grain which is very cheap nutrient-poor food. If we had no dairy we'd need to lessen our dependence on grain, or consume more meat to get our dietary requirements.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK "That's disgusting. Use the land what was used for cows to plant trees, and find alternative fuel for vehicles and to produce electricity . That's if people are really worried about global warming. It probably won't effect me in my lifetime and no one else seems to care. Dogs? Why that's hardly a drop in the bucket. Anyone at all serious about addressing global warming should advocate harvesting at least two out of every three children. Turn them into to Soylent Green as a protein substitute for cows which would no longer exist. (August 31, 2014 at 11:46 pm)Aractus Wrote: dbp, let me make some alterations to your statements... Wow. You would see an avoidable mass extinction just because you can't be bothered to make any changes to your life style. You seemed to have jumped on the "climate will change anyway" part of my post and missed out the part where we are the drivers of cataclysmic change because of the gross miss use of the planet. If we were to try and purposely fuck the planet up we would be doing exactly the same as we are doing now. You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis. Dogs and cows are an accessory to our human lifestyles, not mine personally because I don't have a pet or eat beef. Many of the dog breeds and cow breeds exist specifically for human needs. It's more realistic to kill cows and dogs than to tell people they can't drive vehicles anymore. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. There probably about enough people there to last long enough to figure out the manufacturing process and get the stuff at least half ass palatable before we start harvesting the more premium younger cuts.
Save a life. Adopt a greyhound.
I would sooner kill environmentalists than my dog.
