Poll: God is NOT dead ???
This poll is closed.
God is Dead! In other words, there is no God and the film has not provided the evidence adequately

God is NOT Dead! In other words, despite the Biblical errors(not presented in the film), Jesus has to be god incarnate despite Christian misbehaviours on the contrary!

1 7.69%
The quote based on the German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche, is not completely accurate because there may be a "god" but it is not Jesus! There is a universal and neutral "god" in the universe.

Daniel Fincke, an actual philosophy professor, has dismantled the arguments forwarded by the movie:

Lengthy, but a good read if you're interested in

I don't think you made a fair poll. You have made it so people who think God is not dead sound wrong.

Might come as a shock Carm, but I don't think this poll was made to be an utterly balanced, serious poll.

I think the poll's ok. It may be worded atheistically but allows entries from the atheist, christian and non-christian believer's viewpoint. What quote by Neitchze is it referring to?

It appears verbatim in several places, in particular
"Gott ist tot! Gott bleibt tot! Und wir haben ihn getötet!"
("God is dead! God remains dead! And we have killed him!")
from "die fröhliche Wissenschaft", also taken up in "Also sprach Zarathustra"

There was almost assuredly no god or gods that were ever alive.

Not to mention, every definition of a god by theists that I have ever heard are incoherent.

But onto the movie...

If I didn't know the makers and actors were Christian, I'd almost think this movie was done as a homework assignment for an "Intro to Philosophy' course, to pick out all the logical fallacies. Because this piece of crap is wall to wall fail.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Just make sure you look both ways before crossing the road. If you are an Atheist. Not sure what the movie is intending? Kill all atheist?...or hit atheist with your car? who knows?

I can't choose because this movie doesn't even for a second aboard this
topic. This movies talks about a unhappy teacher that actually believe that
god is real and he is angry with him for not healing his daughter and
therefore this film promotes the claim that everyone who claims god doesn't
exists(aka atheists) actually believe in him and they are just angry with God.
All in a attempt to convince atheists and religious alike that everyone has to
believe that God exists. Because the whole idea for some christians that out
there is a group of people that don't actually believe in God is so mind-
blowing for them that they refuse to even acknowledge that those people
exists.
Which I find to be a total bullish it.
