I'm sure in the coming days they will be all trying to outdo each other in expressing their outrage Should be wildly entertaining.

American Family Association and all the rest I'm calling bullshit on. Not once has any of them ever advocated a One Man, One Woman ONCE law.

And after all, that's what their Jeebus commanded. If it really was sincerely held religious beliefs guiding their opposition, clearly, OMOWO would have been the brass ring, and it sure as hell wasn't.

Fucking 'phobes, and bad Christers to boot.

Now Ted Cruz jumps in to lose what little mind he has.

Quote:“Unelected judges should not be imposing their policy preferences to subvert the considered judgments of democratically elected legislatures,” Cruz said on Monday.

Unless they are letting the Koch Brrothers buy elections eh, you phony fuckball.

Quote:Finding that "laws of the kind now before us raise the inevitable inference that the disadvantage imposed is born of animosity toward the class of persons affected," the Court inferred that the passage of Amendment 2 was born of a "bare...desire to harm a politically unpopular group".[2] The Court added: "[I]f the constitutional conception of 'equal protection of the laws' means anything, it must at the very least mean that a bare ... desire to harm a politically unpopular group cannot constitute a legitimate governmental interest."(emphasis added)[

Yes then did Min. But they didn't extend it. I hope they do. But they tend to follow public sentiment. The more states and circuits, the better.

Look, we'll trade you Ted Cruz and Governor Goodhair for a couple of good centrists and a shot at quality governance.

I'll be writing Senator Cruz in the morning to explain to His Holy Dipshit that rights aren't subject to majority appeal.

These phony patriots don't understand the structure of their own government and legal system, yet rail against it when it is functioning properly.

That federal judges are not elected is by design, you fucking dolts. That insulates them from the pressures elected officials are subject to and allows them to deliberate without pressure.

As predicted...um, yesterday?...the 9th Circuit has now weighed in.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/gay-m...k-26027055

Quote: A federal appeals court on Tuesday struck down gay marriage bans in Idaho and Nevada.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that gay couples' equal protection rights were violated by the bans

I now have a better 'prophecy record' than fucking jesus. Worship me, motherfuckers!

Not every state in the 9th circuit was as backward as Nevado and Idaho.

Although, they are now shitting bricks in AZ.

The knuckle-draggers will not give up.

Quote:Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt noted that, to date, no court has squarely decided whether the Kansas Constitution's prohibition of same-sex marriage is invalid and that the state will deal with any litigation when it comes. Wyoming and South Carolina are taking similar stands.
