Islam is a hugely broad brush.... at one end, we have lovely people loving their god, praying and living normal lives in normal societies, but at the other we have people reading other verses of the same book and wreaking havoc...
Why can't political leaders' advisors get a grip and make the most influential people in the world look like they have a clue?
Too often we hear that IS are not true muslims..... oh f*ck they are !! they are the truest...
Obama and he crew need to move the debate on 4 or 5 notches !!!
The leader of ISIS has a BA, MA and PHd in Islamic studies from the Islamic university of Baghdad.
I doubt if any political leader like Obama has bothered to read a chapter of the quran the whole way through.
I think it could be that the big political leaders want to continue killing Muslim civilians abroad, funding warlords in these areas to fight against each other via intelligence agencies, while at the same time as giving a pat on the head to the Muslims living in their own countries.
The Islamic ideology is quite like Nazi prejudice when it comes to homosexuals.
At best Muslims will only consider gay people to be behaving ignorantly/ senselessly. Which is written in the quran.
At worst Muslims will believe in the Hadith which says Muhammad prescribed the punishment of death to homosexuals. Not such a big deal since most Muslims believe in hadiths.
Imagine if I came to America now saying I had my own religion I want people to respect it, and my religion says Black people behave ignorantly and senselessly and also that some people in my religion believe people born with ginger hair should be stoned to death.
Actually from what I've heard, the first bit I wrote isn't not too far off mormonism anyway.
